Scottish Cycling, Running & Outdoor Pursuits Show

Book your FREE Triathlon Challenge slot

One of our most popular features is back for the fourth year! How competitive are you? Think you can take home the title of Triathlon Champion 2019? Well here’s your chance to test your fitness levels and show what you're made of at the show’s Triathlon Challenge!

The challenge is simple: First you will swim for seven minutes against a steady current in our amazing Endless Training Pool, then it’s out of the pool and on to the bike where you will cycle as far as you can in seven minutes.

Then it's into your trainers and on to our treadmill where you will then run as far as you can, again in seven minutes; there will be no time for drying – you’ll be doing this wet just like the pros! Your combined distance travelled on the treadmill and bike will be your final score.

In 2017 Lorna Sloan from Kilmarnock took the female title with a winning distance of 5.7km while Alan Semple from Aberdeen claimed the male title with an impressive distance of 7.0km.

If you think you've got what it takes to beat last year's winners then get yourself signed up for the challenge! Fantastic prize up for grabs for the longest distance covered for top male and female over the weekend.

Wet suits will be provided for the Endless Pool challenge but you will need to bring your own sports shoes to cycle and run. Places in this challenge are limited so to avoid disappointment you must book your slot in advance. Over 16s only.
